Introducing Nature's Way

A barrier-free place to connect, heal and grow

The pandemic has emphasized the need to connect to nature. Now more then ever, we need outdoor safe spaces to experience the healing effects of nature on our mind, body and spirit. SHEI has designed a barrier-free sanctuary to be constructed on our beautiful hilltop campus to address this need.

The design of Nature's Way is inspired by the principles of permaculture as applied to our holistic health and wellness. SHEI's intention is to create a diverse space that maintains harmony with the surrounding natural environment. Nature's Way will consist of a series of destinations, each deliberately created to explore lessons fron nature and inspire empowering beliefs.

SHEI is currently raising funds to complete the construction of the fully accessible pathways and safe spaces that showcase the natural beauty of our rural campus. Please consider a donation to help this innovative project.

NEW Program!

WHIM at Home

Popular program offering comes to YOU!

The newest WHIM initiative, called WHIM at Home, was launched just before the pandemic. WHIM at Home brings WHIM activities to individuals with transportation barriers directly to their home using remote conferencing technologies like Zoom and also supplies computer resources as needed. WHIM at Home has proven to be a timely offering in light of the current pandemic.

Virtual WHIM at Home resumes in October. Join us on Zoom twice each week for exercise and remote social gathering. Watch this space for more information and how to join.

Contact us if you need help with the technology or computer resources. Like all WHIM offerings, WHIM at Home is free to all participants.
